and pulled out a name ...
The lucky recipient of my Stack n Whack UFO is Marcia W!! I have already emailed Marcia with the news; soon as I get her mailing address, her prize will be on its way. Congratulations, Marcia!!
And it gets better... I found the leftover fabric - it's a nice Alexander Henry piece and there's just over 1-1/2 yards of it! The 12 blocks are plenty enough for a throw, but the extra fabric can be made into a larger quilt if desired.
Thanks again everybody for participating; now that I know you like UFO's there just might be more trotting down the road... just sayin' :o)
Sew forth and sew on til later
Congratulations Marcia. How cool and lookie at the fabric it came from.
ReplyDeleteI thought I recognized that fabric. I used it on the back of a quilt awhile back. It was a good choice for the Stack and Whack.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the congratulatory comments - and thanks to you Linda for the jump start for a new WIP. My mother is excited too - Stack and whack is new to us so this will be fun.
ReplyDeleteI have done several stack-and-whack
ReplyDeletequilts with both six and eight repeats and enjoyed them even though I had to convert the pattern to be done by hand. I'm sure Marcia will enjoy finishing that beautiful quilt.
