Ladder blocks done

Three things to be happy about:
(1) useless facts
(2) CNN television
(3) quirky combinations


Here's a quirky combination:  today is 12-13-14 ... does that mean anything significant??

The picture at the left is one of a series I took on board Caribbean Cruise Line's Navigator of the Seas.

Every day they placed a new banner on the floor of the elevators ... to remind us what day it was??





Well, it's Saturday again!

I got up and finished the last of the ladder blocks for the Texas Tumbleweeds quilt...





We needed 36 of these brown and neutral blocks to go with the star blocks...

AND ... since I awoke in the wee hours of the morning and wasn't sleepy, I got up and sewed a bit - so now they're done!




SO ... since there's other stuff I need to do today and haven't had breffus yet - it's time for a well-deserved cuppa before I do anything else!


Have a great day today, tilt your head to one side and look thoughtfully at life's quirky side, sew forth and sew on...

    I'm up early today too - must be the 12.13.14 thing. Want to get all those chores out of the way so I can spend the rest of the day playing in scraps.
