More from QU show

There's nothing like a quilt show, and remembering it through pictures!  I have more to share from this weekend's show, although I wasn't able to get back before it closed yesterday.  Next year maybe I'll have to deliberately plan on going two days.

I liked these cool little quilts...

I like wonky, so if I were going to do a Baltimore album type quilt, this would be the one:

New York beauties?

Gotta love these graphic designs!

I saw one similar to the one on the left, on the 15-minute site:
Gwen Marston has this design in one of her books - it's so pretty and carefree!

And finally there were 7 or 8 bras, all unique and interesting:

There were fishes and fowls, butterflies and flowers, suns and stars...I have lots more pictures but this gives you an idea of how fantastic the show was - and I didn't even see it all!

The only purchases I made were a book on free-motion quilting, a pattern for paper-pieced trees, and a couple bags of scraps (like I need more scraps!).  Well, how could I pass up the scraps - they were a bargain  :o)

Sew forth and sew on til later

  2. That sounds like a great show, Linda! Thanks for sharing the quilts. Don't you feel rejuvenated and inspired after a show like that? Of course, there is always this little voice in my head saying "you'll never be able to quilt like that" but I have learned to just tell it "so what?" and keep chugging along!!

  3. Love the diversity of this show. Thank you for sharing. And I don't blame you for not passing up a bargain.
