This is mine, isn't she a cutie? She has her legs, hair and head wrap...
I just have to attach her arms and decide on a dress style. And... I just might make her a wee pair of underpants! Hide that cellulite, girl!!!
I meant to take pictures of the process, but I didn't remember my camera until I was half-way to Yetunde's house and I didn't want to turn around. She should have more photos on her blog.
Until later, sew forth and sew on...
I can't wait to see her when you get her all outfitted. But working with such tiny little dimensions is so challenging and takes a lot of dexterity and patience.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous -- what a gorgeous doll --such talent!! Can't wait to see her when she is done:)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait, too! I had thought to make her dress the same color as her "body suit" but I might go with an entirely different color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post!
Linda
I checked out her blog and it looks like you are learning from a very talented artist. Your doll looks great so far.
ReplyDeleteThose ladies (dolls) just make me giggle all over. They are just so wonderful. And I am jealous that you have got such a creative teacher to work with. Fantastic job. Looking forward to seeing more and more. I might just have to stop quilting long enough to make a few of those gals.
