Okay, so I've spent 3-1/2 hours (the first hour standing in line!) at the Social Security office, I got that out of my system and I don't have any desire to do it again! My plans were to get my driver's license renewed but I couldn't put my hands on one insignificant little item I needed - my social security card. I know my number, but you need the original item. So, I had to apply for another one. Been there, done that, let's move on!

I worked on En Provence for awhile yesterday and now I have 80 - 80, yes! - of the 100 units I need for step 2 ...
Just 20 left to go!
Another "done" item - 2 bags of clothing donated to Purple Heart!
Some of those clothes were just hanging in my closet, looking all forlorn and overlooked. Somebody can use em!
That's it for now, sew forth and sew on...
The 80 pieces look terrific. You'll be ready for Friday's new clue.

ReplyDeleteI had to do the social security card thing, too, when I moved to NYS and had to get a new driver's license. I hadn't seen that original SS card in *decades*...

I have to say, there are benefits to living in a small town -- no waiting in long lines. I just love the variety of your neutrals with that magenta. You are really cranking away on this.
