What we did instead of quilting again

Three things to be happy about:
(1) a much-needed break
(2) installing new software (you might as well be happy about it!)
(3) decorating a cake

Yesterday Charlene, Felicia and Pat took me to lunch at Golden Corral to celebrate my birthday, it was a fun and yummy break.  I always like their food but yesterday the big hit seemed to be their sweet potato casserole, it not only tastes good but it's good for you too!  Felicia likes their jalepeno poppers - hot!

After lunch we dropped by Wegman's where Felicia and Charlene got boring healthy stuff, while Pat and I went for the real  stuff - candy by the pound, yeah!

After that we hopped across the parking lot to Gallery Africa, they have such unique clothing in that store!

We found pretty two-piece outfits, jackets and one item we weren't quite sure of ... looked like a combination shrug/jacket but it slipped over the head.  Oh well, we were just looking anyway.

At the back of the store we hit the mother lode... is this hat me, or what!!?
I think it's a "what"!

Felicia found a red hat!  I think this one had an open crown...

We were all ooohing and ahhhing over this coat, taking turns trying it on.  Pat decided to try it with THE HAT!

We were having so much fun... there's nothing quite like a group of ladies giggling in a clothing store!  The sales clerk asked us politely... "Are you ladies finding everything you need??"  Yes'm.

Pat decided to take the coat, after I encouraged her to ask for a discount because the lining wasn't quite all it should have been, but she can fix it.  It's a really pretty coat - we left the hat for another snappy shopper.

Well, that's all for now, have a great Tuesday, sew forth and sew on!
