First off they'll need someplace to lay their heads! I don't think they'll be too comfortable sharing the bed with fabric, do you? I keep some of my stash in the spare bedroom because it's only used once in a blue moon (the bed, not my stash!) ... in fact the last overnight visitor I had was my sister way back in 2008!
It's okay if someone is just dropping in, it's easy to push stuff behind the door and under the bed and in the corner, but overnight is a whole different animal.
Do you suppose they'll notice this stacked on the dresser??
mmm... I better move it!
But I think I'll leave this stack next to the window, surely they can walk around it...
It's adds to the decor, right? A little vertical interest going on!
So now you know what my undercover work will be for a couple more days... wish me luck, not much time for sewing or blogging! I'll look forward to seeing what's going on with you all when I have a chance to come back :o)
Laters, baby! Sew forth and sew on ...
Seriously, Linda....the room looks great as is. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI use to put my UFO's on the guest bed, but had to move them too many times. Since putting them in a tote bin - no one has come to use the room! Enjoy your time away.
ReplyDeleteMy guest room bugaboo is all the paper stuff (statements and the like). It'll take me hours to shred all that stuff. Oy vey...
ReplyDeleteHave a fun visit!
The "blue moon" was the 31st so they are a little late. I use those stacking boxes too (but a lot smaller). Looking at your stash makes me feel a lot better about mine except there is no spare room for them to take over. Fabric on the bed is supposed to be "quilts". Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWhen I read the title I thought "undercover work" meant a nap~ looks like i was wrong. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe call that an "Anxiety Room" in my house, lol. It's the room where everything gets shoved when company comes and the door is shut. Luckily, though, I have another spare bedroom so no one is the wiser :)
