I use titanium coated needles, and they do last me a little longer. I think my needle changes average about every 12 to 15 hours of sewing.Miki Willahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01903615512823465964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4414889544611004710.post-37132759203772378552012-04-24T22:03:11.500-04:002012-04-24T22:03:11.500-04:00I am struggling with the new blogger. I don't think I change my needles often enough for piecing patchwork BUT for Free Motion Quilting I change needles with each project because if I forget the quilting doesn't come out so well. And I find it very difficult to keep track of how long it's been since a needle change on my piecing machine. And then I'm paranoid about disposing of the used needles....I know someone who lost her puppy because he ate a needle from the garbage and it wasn't found out until it was too late.....so I store all my old needles and bent pins in a tin box and am afraid to put them in the trash.....YIKES....Mariellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16631515410479341434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4414889544611004710.post-9222189783566053752012-04-24T16:33:37.654-04:002012-04-24T16:33:37.654-04:00Everybody is talking about the change in Blogger a...Everybody is talking about the change in Blogger and I have been using the new interface for months now. Is that what you are talking about? You can click on the gear in the upper right corner and get back to the old blogger. The new one doesn't have all the choices in settings that the old one had so I have to go back now and then.

Changing needles--I probably use the same needle for a month and I do quite a bit of sewing. If I have any problems I change more often.Exuberantcolor/Wanda S Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064308660138307797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4414889544611004710.post-91707104964907219942012-04-24T16:31:21.003-04:002012-04-24T16:31:21.003-04:00I changes my needle when it break.Happy surfing!!I changes my needle when it break.Happy surfing!!Rosahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16658886355427916313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4414889544611004710.post-90370586491305496802012-04-24T13:52:58.815-04:002012-04-24T13:52:58.815-04:00I usually change my needle when it breaks too, I ...I usually change my needle when it breaks too, I also change it for different threads and feet, but put the old one back in after that project is done. So I change the needle when I start a new project, which is probably too long, but oh well.Livin' Blue Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04239017513274277679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4414889544611004710.post-86671900142936240582012-04-24T10:09:40.458-04:002012-04-24T10:09:40.458-04:00I thought maybe you were on a vacation.
